Board Members -
What is going on there in Big Bay regarding the lighthouse
issue? We and many other lighthouse enthusiasts have
followed this issue for years.
Can governing bodies now completely ignore the opposition
to the Lighthouse rezoning posed by almost all neighboring property
owners?
Granted the Gambles have every right to do what they want with their
property WITHIN THE LETTER OF THE LA W , but rules should not
be changed just to benefit them and ignore all others. These decisions are
going to be lived with for a long time.
The June 6th Planning Commission was a travesty of justice. Chairperson,
Linda Sherbinow, stated she was a school teacher. I'm sure most people
at that meeting were wondering what our young p~pple are being ~xposed to.
She is incapable of running a fair meeting, making fair comments or leading the PC in a fair direction. Her comment "LSR is consistent with the whole peninsula "is just one example of her bias and incompetence.
Down the road the Kennecott sulfide mining issue will probably give you a
taste of your own medicine.
Many people are following this Lighthouse issue -get your act of fairness
together!
Copies of this are being sent to several National Lighthouse magazines.
